Episode 18: Knit for Fun Retreat Recap

Hello Knitters!

I hope I have fixed my website so that the podcast doesn't play automatically when you open it.  Argh - how annoying!  I apologize for that - hopefully it's fixed now.

Happy One Year of Podcasting to me!!!  I hope you enjoy this rambly episode... Next time I promise to be more theatrical and organized.

So, what do you think of these Pairfect socks?  I'm not sure what went wrong with the dye.  I'll keep you posted on how the second sock looks.  Maybe that one will be right!

I meant to include the interview with my daughter at the end, and I FORGOT! I feel really bad about it, but I will include it next time for sure. Wow... this next episode sounds like it's going to be awesome.  I'm just saying...

Watch the blog and the podcast group on Ravelry if you are interested in test knitting! Or just email me.  :) Enjoy!

Show Notes

  1. Great audio cast! You have a incredible voice!
I would contact Arne and Carlos, regarding your “special “ yarn...send pictures etc.... I’m sure they would appreciate your feedback and I bet they will reward you!!!
I enjoyed meeting you at the retreat..

    1. Oh Colleen - you are so sweet. Thanks for your kind words. After I read this, I decided to so just that - I contacted Arne and Carlos, and their representative got right back to me very politely telling me that A&C are freelance designers for Regia yarn, and that I needed to contact Regia. Now I have an email in to them. I'm mostly pursuing this out of curiosity. What will they say??? If I end up with wonky socks, the world will definitely not come to an end! And I'll have a great story. :)

  2. Oh my goodness you are so awesome! When I met you, you just sparkled and I didn’t realize you were you!! Now I do! Enjoyed your podcast and hearing about the Edmonton experience through your eyes! ❤️ Looking forward to knitting my Gigi 😍

    1. Yay! I'm so excited for your Gigi! It is a great everyday sweater, and I hope you love it! :) :) :)
